Ingredients

Serves : 10
  • 10-15 Green Chillies


  • 25-30 Garlic pods


  • 1/4 cup coriander with soft stems


  • 1 tsp cumin seeds


  • 1 tsp lemon juice


  • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder


  • 1/4 tsp asafoetida


  • 3-4 tsp mustard oil


  • 1/2 tsp Salt

Directions

  • Soak the toothpicks in water. Insert toothpick in chillies n garlic pod. Put wire rack on flame. Put all chillies n garlic on it. Roast it from both the sides.
  • Take it out on a plate. Let it cool.
  • Take a grinder add cumin seeds, take out from the toothpick add garlin, chillies, coriander. Churn corsely.
  • Take a pan on low -medium flame add oil, asafoetida n corsely grind garlic-chillies. Saute it for 5 min.
  • Add salt n turmeric. Saute it for 2more min. Thecha is done.
  • Can be served with any Parathas, rice, pulav, bread etc.Store it in airtight container in fridge for a week.
